Each child is a unique individual with a distinctive learning style. Learners often feel isolated and are unable to connect with the process of learning because either the learning is too easy which often leads to boredom or too difficult leaving the learner frustrated and as a result not interested in their learning. It is therefore very important that when planning for teaching we need to keep in mind learners preferred learning style, readiness, ability so that we can connect the learning with the learners.
Differentiated instruction provides children equal opportunity to explore learning in their own preferred style. Learners no longer feel isolated and are therefore actively engaged in the process of learning. Student motivation and task persistence increase when students can work with topic that are of personal interest. To best fulfil the needs of varied learners and to keep trace/focus on individual use of technology is only the alternative tools we the teachers are left with. With the use of technology varieties of learning activities could be designed. Teachers could create academically diverse classroom, include students working at different readiness levels, having varying interest and learn in a variety of ways.

Your opinion highly denotes that through technology presence in our classroom we as teachers can equip our students with a wide range of different interactive and dynamic activities in a way that better they will be engaged in adopting many strategies to face learning effectively. Variety, hard work and autonomy will certainly achieve better quality learning and therefore improve the status of education everywhere!

Diversity of technology in the present day helped the teacher to find new ways and many develop the skills of students different depending on the different levels and individual differences among them, and this is one that provides opportunities for parity in learning among students, and the technology made it easier for the teacher into account individual differences among learners, and created a means of developing skills different students.

As teachers we are conscious that every one of our students has developed one type of intelligence more than the others, consequently every one of them are different worlds. Then it means in a class of any number of students our task is to design activities that potentiate each type of intelligence. Our advantage however is that today we can count with the support of Technology.

ReplyDeleteLearning styles are various approaches or ways of learning.We all have different ways of learning which is good but we have to see which is the one in our class that is giving students more self confidence , remember that they involve educating methods, particular to an individual, that are presumed to allow that individual to learn best.
Most people prefer an identifiable method of interacting with, taking in, and processing stimuli or information. Based on this concept, the idea of individualized "learning styles" originated in the 1970s, and acquired "enormous popularity
With this I think we are going to improve the way of teaching to our students and see which learning style would fit the best
